COVID 19 Protocol Reminder

Timberwolf Youth Baseball Families,

It’s been great to see all the kids practicing and scrimmaging on the fields the past few weeks.  Finally getting some sense of normalcy back into their lives!

With that said, I wanted to remind you all about the protocols that we have to follow to ensure the safety of our children, the coaches, and the spectators.  I know I sent this out previously when we first started, but as a reminder:

1. Masks are mandatory for kids, coaches, and spectators.  Period.  Doesn’t matter if they’re on the field, hitting, on the bench.
Exception – Catchers mask.  The catcher doesn’t have to wear one.  HOWEVER, if you do this, make sure if you’re switching catchers to wipe down the mask with a sanitary wipe.  I’ve been doing this all season.  If you don’t have wipes, they need to wear a mask.

2. Ask spectators to stay in their pods, 6’ distance.

3. As you’re all volunteering your free time, I know there’s a lot going on.  If you have a parent that can help monitor if a child doesn’t appear to have a mask, just remind the child.

4. Carry a spare pack of masks in case a child forgets one.

I know we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  We’re getting there.  I’m fully vaccinated and I’m still wearing my mask.  1) To set an example to our kids and 2) I do not want to jeopardize our league from being unable to play.  Last season was heart-breaking (to say the least).   I do not want that to happen again.

I appreciate every single one of you for your commitment to our youth for playing a sport we all truly love!

Stay Safe!
